The line-up of guest panellists for NZTech’s RETHINK SUCCESS lunch event reads like a who’s who of New Zealand technology icons. The New Zealand tech sector is scaling up and moving forward – hear from the legends, those that are in its midst, and the up and coming companies.
Sir Gil Simpson – a true son of Christchurch, founder of Jade Software Corporation, Jolly Good Software and considered by many to be the father of computer programming in New Zealand
Rod Drury – serial entrepreneur including the renowned NZ success story, Xero
Dennis Chapman – the man behind the innovative Christchurch based electronics manufacturer, Enatel
Scott Bradley – CEO of VMob and one of the new generation of export entrepreneurs in the digital space
Also hear from Wayne Norrie, who will share his thoughts on the past, present and future of the sector along with NZX Head of Markets, Aaron Jenkins to talk about his vision for the launch of the new “Growth Market” on the NZX for emerging and smaller companies.
Lending a real Christchurch perspective will be Tom Hooper, the CEO of Canterbury Development Corporation, to talk about the city as a business destination and Paul Deavoll from Gen-i who will advise on what it takes to succeed in the region.
