Canterbury Tech is Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest and most active regional tech community.
Founded in 2002, we began during the early wave of internet-driven business growth in Ōtautahi Christchurch. Today, our membership spans a diverse mix of software, hardware, electronics, engineering, science, and manufacturing companies – from early-stage startups to global tech leaders.
We exist to create and maintain an inclusive space for the tech community to connect across our region. Each year, we deliver a packed calendar of events, from weekly meetups and industry panels to our flagship Tech Summit in September and a growing Tech Week Festival.
