UXCHCH: Designing how it feels

In UX, we spend a lot of time thinking about flows, usability, and reducing friction. But people don’t remember a workflow; they remember how that workflow made them feel.

In this interactive session facilitated by Kathryn Ruge, we’ll explore the often-overlooked driver of user experience: emotion. Combining practical tools with behavioural insight, she’ll show us how emotions shape memory, decision-making, and our overall perception of a product or service.

Come along and learn how to:
• Think about UX in terms of emotion, not just usability
• Identify the feelings you want users to have (and not have)
• Spot unintended emotional friction in your designs
• Use a simple tool to bring emotional insight into your work
• Design experiences that are not just usable, but memorable

Due to the hands-on nature of this meetup, numbers are capped at 30 people in the room. As always, the session will be recorded and shared on our YouTube channel for those who can’t attend live.
