Do you want to help shape the future of Canterbury’s tech community?
We’re looking for passionate members who can contribute 3–5 hours per week to governance, decision-making, event support, and championing collaboration in our ecosystem.
As a Board member, you’ll play a key role in delivering Canterbury Tech’s 2025–2028 Strategy, support flagship events like Tech Summit, and contribute your expertise and networks to help strengthen and grow our community. Want to know more – check out our board member guidelines.
We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in technology leadership, electronics, software, governance, sustainability, project management, or PR.
We are seeking to fill two (2) positions due to the roll off of Kahn Mitchell and Danielle Jones from our current board.
Key Dates:
- 3 November – Nominations open
- 4 November – Information session
- 19 November – Nominations close
- 20 November – Voting opens
- 30 November – Voting closes
- 2 December – New Board announced at AGM
