There is are no prerequisites for membership, and membership is currently free, though a gold coin donation at the door is common

OWASP Chch meetup Kim Carter

The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) came online in 2001. The NZ chapter came online in 2007. OWASP is a non profit organisation focused on lifting information security awareness and upskilling individuals and organisations in the creation of technical solutions.
