AI Day at EPIC: A Techweek Series by Christchurch AI

We love seeing our members lead the charge in innovation! This Techweek, energetic community leader and Canterbury Tech member Caelan Huntress is hosting a massive full-day program at EPIC Innovation on Thursday, May 21st.

Whether you are looking for hands-on skills or high-level strategy, Caelan has curated a series of sessions to help you navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape. You can drop in for a specific session or grab a full-day pass to immerse yourself in the local AI community.

The Lineup:

• AM Workshops (9:00 AM – 11:45 AM): Get hands-on with practical AI tools, from building your own AI coach to automating meeting transcriptions.

• Coffee & Jam (12:00 PM – 1:15 PM): Join the Ministry of Awesome for a special Techweek edition of Christchurch’s favorite startup networking event. (Free to register)

• PM Presentations (1:30 PM – 5:00 PM): Hear from local and international speakers sharing real-world AI use cases and success stories.

• Evening Panel (5:30 PM – 7:00 PM): A deep dive into the big questions—leadership, governance, and the future of AI.

Tickets are available for individual sessions at $10 each, or you can secure a Full Day Pass for $30.
