There are all sorts of reasons people can be difficult. Some are just generally disagreeable. Others might be having a bad day, and they don’t really want to be in your workshop. Some have tough things in their personal lives. Others aren’t being heard, or can’t articulate their thoughts in the moment. Most get hungry. For any given reason, on any given day…someone might be difficult in your next workshop. If difficult people throw you off your game, facilitation skills can help. This session will help you:
Bio: James is a facilitator. He’s been a professional facilitator for seven years, and independent for two. You can find him working in Southland, Tauranga, or remotely from campsites across the South Island. James has a Masters in Cultural Anthropology and a decade in tech, with a passion for more effective government teams and natural resource management.
