Sam and the team at Seamless are new members of Canterbury Tech. To introduce themselves, Sam has shared a snapshot of who they are and what they do.
At Seamless our purpose is to improve quality of life by connecting communities with critical infrastructure through integrated systems. We work with digital leaders in Councils and Electric Utilities, automating business processes by integrating their enterprise systems.
One recent piece of work that we are particularly proud of is of our work with Transpower, helping to automate preliminary environmental screening. By aggregating district planning zones from over 67 Councils, we can now alert where new engineering projects need a more surgical approach to avoid disturbing environmentally or culturally vulnerable places.
Our view is simple. Tech for tech’s sake is selfish and pointless. Find people who have a problem worth solving, define that problem well, and the technology becomes the easy part.
We are growing rapidly and are on the hunt for like-minded people who care about finding sensible solutions to some of New Zealand’s most important critical infrastructure challenges, which is why we have joined Canterbury Tech.
