Join our monthly meetup about all things Python at XCHC Christchurch – 376 Wilsons Road.
This month, Mike Kittridge will be talking about the best file format for storing labeled multi-dimensional arrays (HDF5) and the Python package for interacting with it (h5py). HDF5 is the file format that is used by netcdf4 for storing scientific data, but using h5py directly gives you so much more power!
Doors open at 5:30pm, with the talk starting at 6pm.
Please stay home if you have any cold or flu symptoms, or are feeling unwell in any way.
For those wanting to participate remotely, the meetup will be live via Big Blue Button at https://bbb2.nzoss.nz/b/men-pg1-cot-ai2
Do not hesitate to pass this information around to whomever you think may be interested to hear and discuss all things Python.
PS: NZPUG’s Code of Conduct applies for our local meetups and the online meetup.com group. Please read it up in case you haven’t yet https://python.nz/code-of-conduct
