Come join us for a session that talks about the key concepts in Product – and how Streamliners is introducing Product into a business that is not a traditional Product led organisation.

This session will run in 2 parts:
1. Foundations: What is product management, what are the key concepts and skills in play at different points in the product lifecycle?

2. Streamliners talks to the constant battle they have between allowing customisation while maintaining standardisation, and juggling working with a different business model and partnership responsibilities being a charitable entity.

Streamliners is a member-based organisation that works in partnership with clinicians to improve patient consultation interactions and with their local health system to maximise efficiency and utilisation of their resources. Our business is essentially a publication platform with supporting technical writing services.

We constantly strive to balance the competing needs of customisation and standardisation across over 60 regional health systems. Just to make things interesting, about 80% of our “workforce” sits on the payroll of our global members.

Join us for a drink and to learn something from our trials, triumphs and failures as we’ve grown away from a purely service-based business towards a product oriented one.

This is a free MeetUp event run in collaboration with the Christchurch Product Management & Marketing Group.

Venue: Streamliners, 4 Acton Street. Cross the little wooden bridge from the footpath and follow the signs into the ground floor meeting rooms.

Parking: On street and Wilsons parking may be found on Montreal, Antigua or surrounding streets. If you get really stuck, a sneaky park on the edge of the South City Mall or New World should be fine for an hour or two.

Health & Safety: There is construction immediately adjacent to us so be aware of vehicles and workers in the vicinity.
