Neurodivergence is twice as prevalent in the IT industry as it is in the general population, but most neurodivergent adults don’t realise it. Often it is just a sense that they don’t quite fit. They know there are some things they are exceptionally good at—and others where everyone else was clearly given an instruction manual that they missed.
If you work in the IT industry, you interact with neurodivergent individuals every day. Perhaps you’ve even suspected that you yourself might be neurodivergent?
What does neurodivergence look like beyond the myths and TV stereotypes? What is worth knowing if you think you, or someone in your world, is neurodivergent? What do you need to know about neurodiversity as someone who works in IT?
