2021 Canterbury Tech Summit update

We are absolutely gutted, but Tech Summit will NOT be going ahead on Wednesday 26th January.

We hope you are already all aware of this, and received the comms we sent out regarding this on Sunday night.

We are unable to proceed as an in-person event, due to the government announcement on Sunday 23rd January, which moves all of New Zealand into the Red Traffic Light setting, allowing a maximum of 100 people to attend any event (based on 1 metre physical distancing).

We will not be proceeding as an online event either, due to continued strong signals from delegates and sponsors alike that you’d prefer to see this as an in person conference.

We are currently assessing options for what the event might look like in the future, in order to give the best experience and most benefit to everyone involved. Please bear with us for a few days whilst we work through this.

Once we have come to a decision on what happens with Tech Summit 2021, we will advise you all as soon as possible.
