About the event
Greg Garratt is the CEO and Founder Medi-Map Medication Management NZ & AU. Greg is a qualified pharmacist and previous owner of multiple pharmacies in NZ.
Ten years ago, Greg identified a very real problem in the health industry, a problem which saw huge quantities of the nation’s pharmaceuticals wasted, a problem which research showed, was costing hundreds of the population a year their lives.
It was to fill this gap in the industry that Medi-Map was born: A cloud-based medicine charting application saving millions of dollars in medication wastage and dramatically reducing medication errors. Join us, as Greg tells us about the Medi-Map journey. From the everyday real problem he tackled, an idea on how that problem could be solved and the commitment to seeing it through; despite challenges with regulators, conundrums in growth management and managing entry into another country.
